Daria Usacheva

Usacheva was injured in November 2021 during the warm-up before the start of the short program at the Grand Prix in Tokyo, since then she has not competed. In April 2022, Daria took part in the Eteri Tutberidze show in Moscow, but didn’t perform jumps.

Daria Usacheva: Recovery is underway, slowly, gradually, without leaps, so that nothing happens again. I gradually restore jumps. In terms of training, everything is the same, I just do the elements that I need.

Now the plans are to recover, go on vacation, continue to fight. After the injury, I have even more motivation.

Daria also told about her emotions after the injury: “On the first day I was worried, but then I began to recover. I didn’t have a psychologist, I didn’t have thoughts – that’s it, the end. I did everything I could do, I prepared for the exam, guys often came to me, supported me."

Dasha at the stages of the COI:

So the Team Tutberidze Champions on Ice tour has come to an end💫 We were incredibly happy to see Dasha in almost all the cities of the tour🥰 We think everyone will agree that Dasha and her Never Enough program have become the highlight of the show♥ ♥ By the end of the tour, Dasha had already started trying to insert jumps into the program, and in the final show in Tashkent, she turned out to have a perfect hollow at the box office!🎉 Dasha, words can't describe how proud we are of you🥺 It will only get bigger in the future! We wish you a productive off-season and look forward to the next season very, very much🤗

Dasha posted a vid about her injury and recovery. It is admirable that she kept her optimism through the time. And you can also see that she received much support from Anya. ❤️

This season has been very ambiguous and difficult😅 Thank God all the difficulties are over… I was injured at the Japanese Grand Prix and couldn't continue the season. In one minute of this video all half a year and all my recovery🙂 A little bit of how it was behind the scenes so to speak😅 Now everything is fine, so I want to say a big thank you to my parents, friends, and coaches for their incredible support🙏 🏻♥️ Also, a special thank you to our federation for the help and opportunities for a speedy recovery 🙏 🏻 And of course, thank you for hundreds of pleasant messages) During the treatment, I rethought a lot of things, which gave me a lot of motivation, so we are working further✨)
