Now he's jumping a 4T-3A:
Best of luck in the Ontario Sectional Series this week, get some revenge on the free skate
Nicely done. That will really boost his tech score if her can get it clean in competition.

I am not sure it's a super good idea to combo his two most difficult jumps into one pass. If it fails, he has to scramble for the layout. I think he will stick to 4t-3t.
4T-3T is probably what he'll go for since it can be used in the short and this is more playing around (I have another one to post that I remembered that you'll like, but it needs to go into the right fan fest.)
It did get me thinking about layouts since the rules change next year and he won't be able to jump four axels in the free then.

David placed fifth at Skate Canada Challenge with a score of 208.12. He placed fifth in the short and fifth in the free. I think this was a good competition for him since he's had issues with the free when he's done well in the short. With this and Ontario sectionals, I think he's making a good transition to Seniors

Skate Canada write-up after the free:
It was nice to see him end his Junior career on a better note than Varese, although the circumstances around it weren't the best with Grayson being injured. A PB in the free and total is a good way to end the season and this part of his competitive career

Wow. When I counted the BV, I had no idea it was the highest ever... Of course, that will be beaten quickly because it is the highest with the new rules but some dude will do it with a quad and that will be almost 25 points.
But let's get back to the video ; this is a beautiful series. I love the way it looks on the ice as it goes in a circle. David is doing this one so we'll. If it gets steady, it could become a trademark combo for him
