Debussy - Great Stress Reliever

I was so stressed out at work today, I was going crazy. It was one of those days when everything one did was wrong. Anyway, as I was stressing myself out, suddenly Debussys' Afternoon of a Fawn music popped into my head. I just kept focusing on the melody and suddenly I started to feel relaxed. If you are ever stressed, I highly recommend Debussy as a great stress reliever.

Personally I find Rachmaninov's Vocalise one of the most relaxing pieces of music along with some of Mahler's music! I keep a CD of classical music on my desk all the time so if I am feeling stressed I can put it on and chill for a few minutes

I especially like the Reverie and something de Lune...but it's a matter of preference...See, I just listen to music made FOR relaxation...

For me, the moonlight sonata de-stresses me everytime. But I'll have to give Debussy a try!

Oh yes, Moonlight Sonata is one of my favorite pieces and a great stress reliever too. I also love Claire de Lune and Reverie by Debussy - I just bought a new CD and it has quite a number of the "stress" relievers all on one CD! It's wonderful.

I too love Reverie it is a wonderful piece of music!! I have to say if you are a classical music lover then I can whole heartedly recommend this CD Smooth Classics [BOX SET] I bought it for my Dad for Christmas and he very nearly didn't get to keep it
