Figure skating is becoming more and more international, with all of these bi-national teams in the mix.

I would think there is no chance they can go to the Olympics as a team. It is not easy to get Swiss citizenship.

That was my first thought too. But since it depends on the canton (I think? or is it even municipality? anyone else know for sure?), maybe he is living in one where he won't need to be a resident for 10 years to become a citizen!

I wonder if it weren't for the citizenship requirement at the Olympics would we see a lot of international "dream teams" in pairs and dance.
