Speaking from a police side of things, not sure about crime and punishment in KAZ, but here in Spokane it is catch and release, as far as the police are concerned. Overloaded District attournies reduce charges for guilty pleas, criminals get out of prison early to clear space for more...some criminals have 10 felony convictions or more out there...serious federal gun charges are ignored....I hope KAZ is different but from the article, it sounds like there are lots of preditors out there who dont care....and they are not just in KAZ....lets all be careful out there....the police can not protect you...they can only pic up the pieces.....

News clip from the early morning TV here in Japan. Daisuke, Mao, Kanako and Mura (and more) all expressed their shock and sadness about Denis' passing.
From what I've gleaned online, the area where Denis was stabbed is a good neighborhood, so someone expressed shock that there would be a murder happening there. I read somewhere else that a pedestrian found Denis lying in the street and called an ambulance, so who knows how long he was there suffering before being taken to a hospital.![]()
My post in The Edge.I'm in shock, I was going to go to bed, but I checked instagram, and I just can not believe it. It's so unfair ... and he's so young and talented, a boy younger than me ... my god ... this makes me think that life is so fleeting.
R.I.P Denis, an excellent athlete, from a small country to which he brought a lot of honor and medals only with effort and dedication. Strength for his family:sad21:
Car Mirrors: There really is a market for that?
I used to live in Peru. They would steal car mirrors, headlights, windshield wipers, anything and everything. You could go to an area of Lima and buy stolen replacements. Whenever you parked on the street you had to remove all these things and hide them somewhere and leave the glove box open so thugs would know there was nothing inside. It’s like that in a lot of countries.Car Mirrors: There really is a market for that?
