Sasha Cohen is one of my favourite all time skaters and while I was watching someone of her videos, I came across some early videos of her that I had not seen before. So I thought I would share them, for those of you who are Sasha fans :)

I couldn't find her jr nationals lp, but I did find her 1999 lp for the Keri Lotion Classic.

I enjoyed watching these, and hopefully you will too.

Thanks for the treat! Sasha's command of her performance was spell-binding, even at age 14.

What a lovely skater Sasha is. I recently found a video of her skating at fourteen, and I reviewed her first Senior Nationals, in 2000. The striking thing about her is that she really never looked juniorish. (Maybe she did waaay back when she was twelve.) Her posture and placement were always polished. It wasn't just her flexibility; her carriage was artistically mature from the get-go. I became a fan right away and have remained one.

-2000 Champions on Ice - Anytime anywhere. This is my favorite performance of this program, everything fits the music perfectly!
-2000 keri lotion classic - To love you more
-2000 Aria

I have somewhere a handheld video recording of Sasha's programs at the old North American Challenge Skate competition held in Lake Placid the summer after she competed as a Novice at US Nationals. Jennifer Kirk (as she was then known) was also there. However, even if I could find them I have no idea how to get them into the land of the interwebs. Anyone got any clues on that.

I love these vids and watch them regularly. She was such a star.

This one is probably my favorite:
I think of all the Sasha videos I have I think this is the first time I've seen this one....thank you for posting it.

She is just such a stunner and my all-time favorite skater -- before she came along, I wasn't interested in ladies' skating at all, just pairs.

Can't wait to watch all these videos.

Thanks so much for starting this thread and finding so many wonderful videos! And thanks to the rest of you for adding to the trove.

I know this thread, is to talk about her early videos, but I did want to share with you guys some of my favourite programs of hers.

One thing I noticed about Sasha is that she used some of the most overused music in figure skating, but she makes it work.
