My aunt decided we didn't want to cook tonight so we had dinner at IHOP.

I wasn't paying attention to the chicken that I had ordered until I bit in and it was RAW. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Thankfully they didn't charge us for any part of it, but still! BLECH.




The only cool thing? Keegan Messing (US Jr. Men's skater from Girdwood, AK - Rory Flack Burghart is his coach, he has a 3a-3t lol) was a few tables away from us... it was so random!

Ugh, i hate when stuff like that happens. Chicken is the worst meat to bite into raw.

I went to taco bell the other day & my burrito was practically all ranch dressing & a little bit of beans & rice. I didn't feel like complaining, so I ate it anyways. I got it without cheese to lessen the fat content, buuut that didn't seem to help lol

The same thing happened to one of my friend's at Applebee's during lunch one day.

We used to frequent the TGI Friday's near work. Service went downhill. 1st my friend ordered the orange chicken over rice (although I don't understand why one would order Chinese at TGIF). The chicken was hot, but the rice was cold - so, he got his meal free. On the following visit, the waitress didn't ask us if we wanted soup/salad and we didn't realize til we saw the check said 'no salad'. So, we got coupons for free appetizers. Both times it was crowded. Then we went another time. It was not busy that day. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting for a waitress. She finally took our orders. Another party was then seated next to us and they got their soup/salad about 10 minutes before we did. So, we complained again and explained that this was the 3rd time we had gotten bad service - so, the manager gave all of our meals free and coupons for free appetizers for each of us. We haven't gone back there since and we each used our coupons at other locations.

I agree. The last time (about 4 yrs ago)I ate at a IHOP was with my mother in law (she wanted to go there not me). I ordered soup and salad thinking they couldn't mess this one up. Well the lettuce was brown and the soup was so cold and oily that I sent it back.

yeah my best friend ended up with food poisoning the last time we ate there (my aunt still says it was the flu... but I dun think so)... why I thought it would be safe to go back I don't know!

the waiter was cool, though... and cute... and had the same name as my dad (same spelling too!)

I've never had a problem with IHOPs. But then it would never in a million years occur to me to order anything at IHOP except breakfast foods. In particular, pancakes. It's just not a restaurant where I'd ever think of ordering salad, for example.

Now, Taco Hell--I would have to be absolutely desperate with no access to ANY other fast-food chain (except possibly Long John Silver, and that's just because of concern about shrimp cross-contamination as I'm sensitive to it.)
