Elena Ilinykh & Ruslan Zhiganshin

I'm unsure of how Gabriella is recovering, but setting aside P/C there still five dance teams that can contend for a medal. I'd say a Russian team won't take the title this year, just because the competition for #1 seems like it'll be very close this season and that will hinder them both in grabbing the title. But either or both B/S and I/Z can be on the world podium this season. C/L have good programs that suit them very well, but their SS is a lot weaker. I was more or less neutral on W/P's SD, but I didn't like their FD at all. I liked C/B's programs well enough. I think ruslena's programs are actually a nice contrast to the other top teams. I think they have the best non-traditional waltz, and it stacks up very well against the other medal contenders, and I think Frida has a lot of potential to wow the audience by the end of the season.

I can't watch live this weekend  I have too many birthday obligations :cry:

Aww! :scowl: I`m sure there will be plenty of videos of their programs, so you can replay as often as you want

I hope their costumes are ready, I think many moves will be emphasized with the right outfit. I hope Ruslan is wearing something that shows his lines, he hits some beautiful positions in both programs.

Snow, are you going to Saransk?

Unfortunately, no. I booked a hotel room and almost booked my flight, but my wife doesn't feel well recently, and she doesn't want to fly in her condition. So we decided to skip it. Two friends of mine will be there, though. Waiting for their reports :)

Oh, how unfortunate.

There is not a lot of information available for Saransk. I believe we don`t even have an official schedule, yet.

There is a schedule available but I do not think it is 'official' yet, no. It is in this document, but it says right there that it may be updated: http://isuproddata.blob.core.windows.net/media/222855/csrus_announcement_mordovian-ornament.pdf

All the same, in the absence of further information, this is likely to be the best guess, if not 100% accurate.

There is a schedule, I posted it in the official thread here: http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/sh...Ornament-General-Chat15-18-Oct-Saransk-Russia

It's on the tickets, so I guess it's official. I doubt they will decide to change it

Those fan arts are beautiful.

p.s. They have published one of my videos.

Love the video you made of them to "Solo tú." The exhibition fit really well with the song. They posted my silly tea collage of Elena and Rulsan.

That was the very first thing I'd noticed. Proud of you. :)

As they should girl!
