He looks really good! I wonder if his longer hair is part of their new look or if he is going to cut it again. :biggrin:
Awesome news that their programs are already done! Hopefully, they are going to reveal their music choices soon.

Can't wait to see what they've chosen! Here's to a return to form next season- hoping they can emerge from the Russian dance scuffle and end up on top again :biggrin:

The young man is growing up quite nicely.
 
If the programs are set while they're still with Shpilband does that mean they'll be staying on with him? Coaches normally get input, right?

Will be interesting to see who did their choreography. They'll probably play it safer than last year though I really liked Frieda a lot.
 
Glad to hear their programs are chosen already; I hope for them to skate to something both safe and unusual/interesting if that makes any sense. :]
And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them staying in the US.

I agree. I hope they'll stay too. When Igor has the talent great things are accomplished. Look at what he did for Penny and Nick & Maddie and Evan. As you say, hoping for their best.

Lol. I know what you mean. They will need a program that is polished enough in September, but that also can grow during the season. If the choreo is too easy they will have to deal with the same problems as SK and SB at Worlds. Both had safe programs, but when Worlds came around, they weren`t competitive with the Top 5. Ka3sha posted on FSU that the Russian test skates will be from 10 to 11 September in Sochi. So, the countdown can start :biggrin:

I'd love to see them do something classically Russian - Igor already gave T/T Polotsevian Dances, but I think The Young Prince & The Young Princess from Shez, or Kismet by Borodin could work really well - show Marina who the real "Russian couple" are. Failing that, I want a ballet inspired program to La fille mal gardée,
The RBC's Alice in Wonderland or Sylvia (And then Rus's Bolshoi ballerina girlfriend could help a lot!)
