And they actually missed quite a lot on the TES side - 3 and 2 for the key points, and level 2 for the lift. On one hand it's not great to be missing those points, but it shows you that there is still so much room to get even higher scores. I'm amazed how quickly they are coming together.

Elena is always a star, but Ruslan looked so comfortable skating today and he seemed much more commanding than last week. Just so good dealing with everything that must have been going through their minds!
 
Amazing SD by Elena and Ruslan today! I liked this SD even better than the one in China. :love: Actually, I liked their SD the best of all dances today; it just felt the most Spanish. Good luck tomorrow, Ruslena! :party2:

I agree.
There still a lot of room to improve, not just with the levels but with GoE's as well. Can you imagine when they reach that level? ;)

Still mad though with the SS scores. :mad:

I agree.

Mostly about how grateful they are for the support - in Sochi everyone cheered just because they were Russian, but here they can tell the cheers come from the heart. Thanks all the fans from all over the world who have sent them cards and messages, says it makes it worth going out to skate for that.

It was just so great. Their expression and command is amazing, and they have connection which for half a year together is quite something.
And I loved it, the energy that came out,considering the TES can get improvements, it needs hard work and they can do more than people do.

The press conference is funny, they looked so relieved, understandably so

Why the CSKA club? They don't train there. Kustarova has been at Medvedkovo since 2012 (hence all the teammedvedkovo hashtags from kustarova's skaters)

Amazing pair, what a dance! This pairing had nothing to do with the actions of Nikita and Victoria. This is just a miracle that was meant to be. Bravo to them, may they continue to work as they do.

And if anybody can evaluate a great Paso Doble and a fierce Carmen it's the Spanish :agree:
