Oh now we see what they've really been working on, the FD. My stream was choppy though, would love to see a video!
 
They were better than CoR. I am pleased. This result hopefully will only make them work harder. Congrats for being here! Russlena!! :rock:

Oh I'm so glad for them. What a pity for that SD. Can you imagine? With the free competition today they probably would've been on the podium. :cheer2:
 
They are slowly(well, quite fast really) getting there. in just half a year to get these marks. If B/S do not participate in NAtionals, they have good chance to win it and go to Euros as number 1 pair! Then the judges will treat them as they should!

I believe they will be much better at Nationals.

They are coming on like gangbusters. As Lena said, when the technique gets better they'll be more confident and at that point I think Ruslan will shine more. He was very nervous. First to have such a first rate partner and to be at the GPF. But for being so new, they are so smooth. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say these two just might have a future. I crack myself up. :laugh2:

I agree. While Ruslan has been to Olympics and Worlds, he has been there as a third ranked off the radar team. All this attention is so new for him, I tend to forget that. I think them going to the GPF will prove to be invaluable for him going into Russian Nationals. Even if B/S skate there I still think I/Z could over take them as Russia number 1. I/ Z free dance score has been steadily going up even with out the technical mark. Europeans will be interesting as they have IMO the strongest SD this season.
 
Ruslena were awesome! 4th FD is an amazing result, I can`t believe that they are only skating with each other since 8 months. If you compare them to the other couples that teamed up in the last years as seniors, nobody gelled the way Ruslena did. C/B, H/D, G/P all didn`t manage to medal at their first GP season, let alone qualify for the GPF.
