Ruslan was great, he was the one who sold it to me, TBH. My guess is that the SD is going to more highlighting him, whereas Frida will have the focus on Elena.

LOVE this SD from Ruslena. Even though, we can't see their facial expressions in the video, they are exuding so much with their movements. Their twizzles were so close together and the lift was really smooth and steady. Can't wait to see how their SD progresses.

I/Z: Happy to show the program without mistakes, they still need to polish the technique, but there is a month and a half until the first competition, and the aim of the next six months is to be at the highest level technically. Nice to be back in Sochi & skating in a new rink. And yes, those were just training clothes, not the costumes.

And in this one: they shouldn't be singing while they are skating, but you can't hep it with this music!
OK once they stop that they will have enough left to do a better performance of the partial steps!

Actually I think their SD will stand out because the idea is interesting. They need to execute it with their best, of course, and they will get good scores.

ITA. They have the advantage that they are true performers, so they are selling the heck out of it. I think with any other team this idea wouldn`t work.

They are going right direction. We writed so many times how they should skate closer and doing much harder transitions and there it is... It is not perfect of course as it should be end of the year...If you are skating perfect this time of the year this means you didn't challenge yourself and your dance is easy.
For SD; I like waltz part very much but We Will Rock You part needs work and I think lift should be in this part. It is just too short. I also wish they changed their twizzles. Catch food twizzles might have been better. Much easier to get speed, less difficult... They have two more months. They can work on better march sequence and maybe also twizzles.

I think I/Z aren't following their 'predecessors; - cough cough- style which was easy transitions, only wow effects and let's hope we make it once a year.

There is something about this two, they exude energy, they transfer their feelings, and they are great dancers. There was a part, a simple move in the beginning, not even technical that if shown from the right angle could be such a tadaam moment one could be blown away.And I haven't seen that in years coming out of Russia.They remind of those couples from the past, they breathed dance.

I didn`t like most SD I`ve seen this season. The programs are ever boring, not a waltz or are trying to cover up weaknesses with weird costumes. Ruslena`s SD has style and I think after polishing it, it could be very successful.
But in all seriousness guys, in I/Z's SD you can actually see the waltz pulsation and the change in tempo for the march is just wow. The way they both change the mood of the dance especially Ruslan is just great. For all those who really think that Ruslan is some timid mouse going along with whatever diva Lena wants to do, they need to go rethink that logic. He really likes this dance!!!
Oh puhlease lets not waste time bashing G/P in an I/Z thread. We're WAY TOO CLASSY THAN THAT :disapp:
