With this win, they should be above Testa/Csolley, which should bring Ruslena into the second SD group at COC.

The program is gorgeous. The speed incredible! I felt like it was a 2 minute program!
About the costumes...
At the conference after FD Lena said that she thought about the idea of her dress with her mother. First they decided to make a simple black dress and after that they came up with an idea to decorate it with silk flowers.
A picture on Ruslan's back is Najarro's idea.
They chose black color to show the pain and the darkness that were in Frida's life.

I like Ruslan's costume very much in the FD. Najarro's idea is great. I like Eelan's costumes also, the silk flowers are very good but I do not agree that black is the only way to go. Frida and Diego had a colorful life also. It was not pain only and their art speaks for them. I think this should be shown in the costumes also. This is pain , black is too predictable IMO. A bustier would be great, something similar to what Salma Hayek used in the movie.

I haven't had an opportunity to see their Saransk FD skate, just saw the protocols and read this thread. So happy for them that they've obviously had a great skate, fast, with high levels for everything and brilliant interptretation. I agree with Alba that the most important thing is that they have two great programs this year and that they are already in terrific shape. Still, I want to congratulate them with getting another personal best (how many skaters have achieved this even at B competitions this season?) and with their first joint international gold! 
I feel like celebrating! Loved seeing them so happy at the press conference!

She sounds quite self-critical IMO, but I fully agree with her about the score ("Wish it were always like this.") - love her sense of humor. Mostly she talks about what they intend to work on and says their coaches are preparing them to attain their best shape by November.
I feel like celebrating! Loved seeing them so happy at the press conference! Exactly! Personally I love their SD costumes, but these are too much like their training outfits from the test skates. I also didn't care for the red ribbon in her hair. I hope they'll go for a more elegantly cut dress for her and a less gloomy color scheme for both of them.

God bless them. They know what to do and they have their head in the right place. I love their FD and their speed this season it's just CRAZY! Pity for that mistake on the twizzles. I love those twizzles because they are so difficult but I'm starting to agree with those who think maybe it's the time to change the second set and put the foot down. Their first set it's huge so they do not need to add more difficulty and sacrifice the sync. and good GoE's for that. They could easily get +2 and +3 for their twizzles for how big and fast they are.

Nah I'm not the one to tell them what to do.
I think they know better and maybe they just need more time to nail them. I don't know. They have very difficult twizzles but I don't think they are worth it to waste time and risk to make mistakes, not to mention the GoE's. They can do that later, if they really want it.The twizzle was rather impressive in the short (I don't agree with those who said it was out of sync there, Ruslan was swinging his leg a little wild after the first set, but the sync was very good). They can change it when they want to play it safe and win big events. That's probably not this season (and definitly not with a nice and boring level 4 catch foot twizzle). They have to make a lasting impression now.
I actually like the length of Elena's dress, I can imagine Frida topless and in trousers but not in a short dress. It wouldn't fit the program imho. Ruslan's outfit is nice, the back is maybe a bit too flashy (maybe they'll use different paintings throughout the season

I don't care if they were overscored, they fully deserved these PCS imo. It seemed also the two judges who scored them lower agreed this time!
