I think so, too. I`m not sure what IZ can do about this. I mean should they maybe change coaches?

Yeah, their twizzles are super close together, fast, great ice coverage, using the music but they get less GOE that the others who were both shaky because they aren't the chosen ones. It's nonsense and it makes me wish they could skate for a country that might actually value them.

The PCS dropped since last Nats - I understand a lower CH score beecause it's not as good a program as Carmen, but everything else is better, but they are marked down.

The short dance has not gone over with the judges well. This is a message being sent.

I wonder why, though. They are talented, have great skating skills and unbelievable charisma. I`m afraid that if they don`t react fast, they will stagnate and be dropped for good.
 
They didn't really deliver internationally since last Nats, making mistakes here and there. It's natural that Their fed may want to try pushing someone else.

When I turned off sound, their SD looked 'busy', not like others SD with lightness and 'air' of waltz. Just my unprofessional 2c.

No. Look at S/K's season last year. They need to make changes and play by the pretty rules. And work. Barring a disaster they will go to Euros.

They were 7th at Worlds in their first season, they had an SD that got them in the top 5. They delivered more than any other Russian team.

But if they then get the blame for the mess that is Russian icce dance and get all the pressure, no wonder they make mistakes if they have to prove themselves over and over again when other teams don't.

S/B have gone ahead of them. (with higher PCS...)

I don't post here often but I do read the forum daily, especially this topic :) I strongly believe that even tho they will probably end up 4th today they still have a strong chance to finish in top 3 after LP.

I love how positive they were after the program even tho they were disappointed for sure. That's the spirit :)
 
SB just beat them in the PCS, barely. Overall they are 2 points above IZ. If this is not a wake up call, then I don`t know what it is.

But they didn't do well in FD during world. When I said 'deliver', I meat the whole competition.

The ideas that SB have gone ahead of them is a disaster....SB are awful!!!! How can they go ahead???? To me this means two things: 1. Skate cleanly for goodness sake; 2. The judges are not liking the SD.
 
SB got a higher score for Skating Skills. Are those judges kidding? Please explain to me how they have better skating skills than Elena and Ruslan?
