Lena is supposed to stop by the Riedell booth at some point, but they couldn't tell me when, exactly. I'm guessing maybe today? She has a little interview prepared or something like that.

The Riedell rep confirmed that Lena is a sponsored skater (they only have 6 of them), so she gets free boots, money, and potentially a bonus. The rep said that Lena's really sweet. Obviously!!

Winky97, I recommend getting a little gift for Lena if you want her to come over. I don't think she would've stopped by me if I didn't show her my gift. All the Russian girls were trying to avoid the crowd.

Lena looked sharper in practice this morning. No falls, though she had a few popped jumps. She did two clean 3Lo-1Lo-3S-tano, so I guess she's going to go for that.

She didn't do any jumps in her run through.

Lena talks to Inna a lot, especially after she makes a mistake. But she didn't look worried. They both smiled a lot. I hope that's just typical for Lena.

Well, I hope Lena goes for broke in the long program. She's in 5th, so she has nothing to lose! Get mad, and sell that Titanic program!!! :yes:

Haha, I actually don't know about Lena, but Evgenia spoke English in an interview I saw. She spoke it pretty well. I'm pretty sure Evgenia also has said she watches English speaking drama's.

Some of the landings were shaky but ehy... Bearing in mind how much she has grown this season that is more than comprehensible...
Still sure Lena will develop into a magnificient and regious skater

The new dress was indeed beautiful. Can't fault her skate other than some shaky landings but too bad the podium was too tough. Can't wait to see her next season already.

I feel like although her jumps were a bit shaky, her performance and facials etc were the best all season (as said above) and she should be proud of how many clean/nearly clean skates she's had this season, despite growing so quickly. I hope she's not too disappointed with 6th, as everyone else skated cleanly and it was a very tough competition.

Anyone who can vote, please do it!!! Angelina is closing on really, really fast. I thought with less then 2 days remaining and quite decent lead, Lena should be almost there, but in the last few hours..., doesn't look that good. We need to do the last step!!!

It was a deep field and all the top ladies did their best, so I also hope Elena is not too disappointed. I'm so upset I won't get to see Imagine one more time- maybe she'll keep it for next season? Anyway, I hope she'll take the results in stride and work on her jump landings, posture, etc and come back stronger than ever next year.
