What a fight!

I was watching live, and as soon as Lena had that wonky landing on the 3Lz, I was like, oh no! This is like CoC all over again! But then she pulled out that 3Lo+3T (even though the 3T was a bit tight) and she held on for a nice 2A! And she sold the second half like she normally does!! That's my fighter!! She never gives up!! :agree:

It might be tough skating right after Mao in the FS tomorrow, but I hope Lena gets a bit mad at herself for the small mistakes in the SP and kills it in the free!! GOOO LENA!!!

I've been listening to S/B's SP music on repeat, and I think Lena would do well skating to it.

Well, I knew there was a virtual tie for spots 2-4, and as soon as I saw Satoko go clean and saw the score, I knew Lena would have to be absolutely perfect...

Congrats to Lena for staying on the podium once again, but I'm sure she's a bit disappointed...

Still, she fought till the very end like she always does!! I really don't know how she manages to pull out a 3Lz+3T the second time around when the first one goes wonky. And I meant to say this after CoC, but bravo to Lena for always getting that final +2T combo in there. It's really tight to do after the 2A because she has to go straight into a spin, but she gets it done! :agree:

But I think I need to stop watching Lena live...the only other time I've watched her live (besides yesterday) was the Worlds LP, and I totally feel like I'm jinxing her by watching. Satoko always manages to kill it when I watch, and then poor Lena has a few bobbles...

On the other hand, I'm super thrilled that she'll be in the gala!! I'm DYING to see her new EX!!! :hap57:

Honestly, in same ways I think this is a good result, it will get her TOTALLY fired up for Nationals, and that is where she needs to do well, so that she can go to Euros and Worlds!!

Congratulations for the bronze!!

Her and Inna were quite negatively surprised by the score. To me, it makes no difference, because with the fall she wasn't going to beat Satoko anyway.
