I think Lena wore high heeled shoes.
Yes, it's always difficult to judge height from banquet photos, because everyone wears heels...but if you look at this photo from the GPF SP press conference, Lena definitely looks at least as tall as Mao now...

My big fear for Lena is indeed that she will grow too tall for competitive singles skating.
Maybe she will grow tall enough to be a runway model, but I agree with all of you, I wouldn't wish that lifestyle on her! Hopefully she will end up around 169cm (like Carolina Kostner) like she wants to, AND still be able to keep her jumps and her consistency!
And after she wins the Olympics, she can definitely become a celebrity model and an actress (and have all those mascara and hair commercials that she clearly deserves.)
:agree:I have no doubt that Lena will succeed in the entertainment industry--after all, she was already offered a movie role 2 years ago:

Many skaters are invited to make movies, programs. Have you received such a request?
About two years ago I was offered to play in a movie, even starring in a film about the war. We went on the "Mosfilm", but when they found out my schedule, this idea soon disappeared. I do not know how and why they chose me. Sami called, called, but failed.
And when we were little, we are Elena S. Maslennikov invited to appear in an episode of "Ice Queen", where the main character played Tatiana Dogileva. We rode in the background, it was a minor role, but all the same role. We are so responsible attitude to work and tried to turn away better, to make the jump.

who trolled who?

I've seen some other inappropriate comments that Lena's received, but as far as I can tell, Lena just ignores them.
