I would be the first to admit that there's many things I hope Lena will improve--fix her posture, have more control over her arms (less flailing), use deeper edges, etc. And I can see why people call her SP trashy (though I love it), and why they think Rachmaninoff is not a good fit.
Despite all this, I LOVE HER!!
That beaming smile, that genuine joy she exudes on the ice, that twinkle in her eye--I love it! No matter how questionable her music choices/choreography may be, she always commits to them 110%, and if she loves what she's doing, it's hard for me not to love it too.And off-ice, she is so earnest and endearing. She's not afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve. :yes:
And of course, she is freakin' adorable! Elena the Fair forever!

Yeah, that blog basically sums up how I feel. I try not get to invested in the young ones. I prefer the skater who has already had to adjust to the body changes. For instance, been loving Tuk this year, but Elena is pulling me in. She just looks so happy to be out there.
I love her SP! LOL! I have been loving programs and outfits these season and than come on here only to see most people hate it. Maybe its a trashy program but a good kind of trashy.
I already let my self drift under her spell a long time ago.
