NEW INTERVIEW WITH INNA GONCHARENKO!!!! :hap57:

GoogleTranslate:
Russian figure skater Elena Radionova is in a good mood suited to the Moscow stage of Grand Prix and looks forward to asuccessful performance, said the athlete's coach, Inna Goncharenko, to agency "F-Sport".

The third stage of the Grand Prix will be held at the Moscow Palace of Sports "Megasport" On November 4-6.

"We do not confuse performances on home stages. First, the arena always has a very supportive audience. Besides eliminating a burden such as the flight, as well as problems because of the jet lag. We have a good experience of competing on home stages -... We won in Moscow last year. Let's hope that this time it will be successful anyway, we come to the start in a good mood, and how ready -.! show competition "- Goncharenko said by telephone.

According to the trainer, after the test skates in Sochi, Radionova did not participate in competitions; she was engaged in working on the programs.

"Lena lost weight, brought herself up, became more beautiful and actively trains. Everything runs in normal operating mode. Everything is ready for the start in Moscow. Lena is full of desire to prove herself to the maximum on a home Grand Prix. After the skate in Sochi we worked on the programs. Lena was ill, then recovered, restored, we prepared the program and costumes - they turned out beautifully, we have two options, and we will choose which to use. The training has passed, thank God, without any extreme accidents, "- said Goncharenko.

Tatiana Tarasova also spoke a little bit about Lena:

In Moscow, will skate Elena Radionova. I saw her in training, and it seemed to me, she comes back strong with a complicated program, "- said Tarasova.

All of this sounds really promising, but it's up to Lena to deliver during the competition!

I REALLY WANT LENA TO DO WELL!! :agree: I want to see Lena's beaming smile after she finishes her program!
GOOO LENA!!!! :cheer:

WOWZA!!! My jaw totally dropped when I saw this photo!

Stunning!! A real princess!!

I'm slightly shocked (concerned?) that Lena went to the Tatler debutante ball right before the competition, but hey, even if she doesn't win the competition, she is CLEARLY winning at life.

The Tatler ball seems super exclusive... I guess she got an invite through Alena Akhmadullina?

As much as I loved kid-Elena I'm so much more happy with adult Elena. I hope her jumps have improved and she can attack and smile. I wish her all the best for Rostelecom.

really, panicing because of mistakes on practice reports.
Lena isn't perfect in her practice reports, on ice: anything can happen.

I love that dress. Really, a stunner :luv17: somehow, I really hope, that Lena pursue acting/modeling(?) in the future (of course after she achieve what she wants in sports) **the bold part* that's more important :)

Yeah, when I saw Lena at Worlds, she definitely made A LOT of mistakes during the practices--like about 20% of her jumps were pops, and she had a couple of falls. But then she basically skated clean (and scored close to 210), so it's really hard to tell what will happen... It does seem that Lena generally makes a lot of mistakes in practices.

But it does seem like the very top skaters DON'T make many mistakes in practices, so it would be nice if Lena was comfortable enough with her jumps to do that. To have any chance at getting back on the World podium, I think Lena's jumps have to start looking effortless, not just like "she held on to that one!"

So yeah, I really, REALLY want Lena to do awesome and win Rostelecom :cheer: , but I'm going to try to keep my expectations low. And hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised!

GO LENA GOOOOOO!!!! :cheer:

ETA - anyone know who this lady is with Inna Goncharenko? I don't recognize her...
