I was so pleased for her with her skate today, it was so good! :) Also I feel her performance has improved even more this season

Agree! The SP is a great vehicle for her, and I love all the little choreographic details. Still hope we will see a different costume as the season goes along, but that's not such a big deal IMO. Shae Lynne Bourne did a wonderful job :)

I know she wasn't thrilled at being second in SP, so hope that will give her motivation to really bring it for the FS!

Does anyone know how tall she is - she looks about 174cm but it's deceiving comparing with other skaters
 
So happy for Elena. This period of growth has been hard for her but she has been hanging in. Gold at China and GPF
 
So happy to see Elena finally on the top podium. She deserved it! Now, go and challenge Evgenia and Anna in the final! It's going to be really fun!

This was the first season that I truly doubted Elena's chances at making the GPF. So happy to be wrong! :yes2:
 
Today Elena's jumps were less iffy than usual: she is getting used to her amazing grown-up body :)
