Lena posted a photo of herself at the airport yesterday, so I was wondering where she was going, and now I know. I totally did not expect her to meet Putin though!!

Ah no, those are the medals from the Winter Universiade from early February. Putin met with the Universiade medalists in Krasnoyarsk because Karsnoyarsk will host the Universiade in 2019. :agree:

Her knee cap was looking black and blue like she fell on it or something. Glad I did not make a plan to go to Worlds this year. Would be real disappointed not seeing Lena

If she's injured, then I'm glad she won't risk competing so close to the start of the Olympic year.
However, it's still completely absurd looking at the Worlds entry list and not seeing her name among those eligible outright.
If you're going to call a competition a World Championships, it should have a field including the best in the world, not most of the best plus a random selection of others.
