Elena Radionova

Since she is always very good on the artistic side, she need to work on this to reduce the gap , and of course fix the jumps once for all. Her spins are the best in Russia, this can help her.
It's difficult but not impossible.

Good heavens. So lovely.

but it seems to me that somehow Elena's career has kind of slip through the cracks with so much great Russian competition even though she's very good too. I know she was doing the ice show and Switzerland and I hope they paid her well. But don't you think someone from the Russian Federation could have asked her to leave for a training camp so she could be the third skater chosen for the world championships? It must not have been a secret that Medvedeva recovering from a foot fracture would probably not go to the World Championships so they would need a third slot filled and I wish it was Elena. How she may never get chosen to skate in another world championship. if Medvedeva and Zagitova are healthy next year they are automatic choices and then the third slot could even go to the youngster Alena. This is what I mean by Elena slipping through the cracks. The timing for everything has not worked out nearly as well for her as it has for Adelina Sotnikova or Alina Zagitova.

So this is called "eda.show" (eda/yeda means food in Russian ;)). Here is their Youtube page. As I see, it is a weekly, 45 minute show. Lena was filming just recently so we should see her in a week or two! (do consider the fact that many show have an approx. 2 week delay between filming and airing).

Unfortunately her timing was off skating wise and it’s unfortunate. Did not surprise me she was not sent to replace Medvedeva because they had named the alternates shortly after Russian Nat. I am hoping she is back strong next season. If she draws Skate Canada or Skate America I may go
 
I just realized that I miss Lena Radi. Hope she'll come stronger next season with stable jumps and memorable programs.
If someone can really have an impact on the public, that's definitely Elena.

She can do it! Elena has lots of beauty and Grace. The challenge has been made technically from the younger Russian girls I hope Elena is up to that challenge.

Alena won't be age eligible until the 2019-2020 season, so she still has a shot next year. I think it will be extremely hard for her the year after, when Alena, Alexandra, Anna S. and Anastasia T. turn senior.
