Is there any news about Elizabet? Is it a certainty that she will be at the World Championships? Is there a Kazakhstan Nationals selection process and if so, when? And would it be relevant to her or would she get automatically selected for World Ch on the basis of her good form? What other competitions might she be entering in the next few weeks? Yes they have Nationals in Kazakhstan but i don't know if Elizabet will skate there since she is clearly the best kazakh skater now, she skipped it last year, though she could use it this time as a competition to gain consistency. She has Four Continents before Worlds, she should be there.

I hope she can have a better second half of the season: she looked always well trained during senior-Bs events and practice sessions but then nervous during the big GP competitions.

TL;DR: she talked about their cultural background, how tough it was to support the daughter even though Kazakhstan's federation was always supportive and the differences between Orser and Tutberidze (and in general differences between Canada and Russia)

I know she will never want to switch countries but I do think that she would make a good pairs skater. I’m sure they are more used to Eteri’s way of training but she also has so many skaters, it’s the same situation of competing for the coach’s attention everywhere, I think. At least now Lillibet will be able to focus on her skating and won’t have to worry about visa problems

I would guess Daniil, simply because of the exhausting journey, 10,000 km from Moscow. If Elizabet is flying direct from Almaty, 11,000 km or if via Moscow, 13,000 km.

Lilbet is placed 6th out of 22, in a good position going into the FS tomorrow. 68plus, ahead of her Rika same score, Lim 69, bell 70, kaori 73, tennel 73.

She did pretty well, one small mistake with landing 2A, but she has pretty good postition before free programs.

You can see the training is paying off, jumps look higher than earlier in the season and spins are faster. She has a shot at the podium.
