Elizaveta Tuktamysheva

Note that I wasn't saying that I thought she absolutely should go for the 3A - merely that the gold isn't hers in the bag if she doesn't.

As for whether she should or no... I'm inclined to trust in Team Mishin. If they want to go for broke... I'm sure they know the possible consequences - and are willing to take the hit if they fail.

As for my own personal feelings? I'm both excited.... and scared witless!:)

In this case, I'm kinda with melissa_ire. From my perspective, the "PR" (even though it's not inappropriate/worse than what other coaches do) puts unneeded pressure on Liza. Just let her do 3A at her own pace, when it's ready. After Jason's 4CC stint, I'm worried about my favourites throwing out stuff if it's not ready.
On the other hand, Mishin's strategy has been working so far. And the math works in Liza's favour (more when it did in Jason's for that dratted 4T<<). Succeed and she pulls ahead of the pack in the SP. Fail and she doesn't fall too far behind. The problem is, the margins between her and Elena are so slim that even 1 extra point down would probably lose her the title.
Liza still wins without the 3A and even 3lz3T, I guess this PR will only help her, especially when it comes to PCS.

So it is decided that she will do it at Worlds: http://tass.ru/sport/1778315
She is saying that despite she fell on it at BO her result still improved from Euros. I guess she meant TES 36.68 at EC VS 36.80 at BO. But what about the deduction?
But I am sure they know what they are doing... indeed, it adds so much excitement for this season final competition!

Maybe I should fly to Shanghai to see her land that 3A... Maybe it's not too late to book the ticket.

I've read that men's free and ladies' free tickets are completely sold, so if Liza is really planing to risk herself with 3A in SP at Worlds, go hurry. :)

It is still more than a month until Worlds: Mishin probably will train that 3a with Liza a lot and maybe will do some little competition again.
I really hope she does not get injured :ohwell:

So... she might add 3A to the SP, and 3Lz-3T to the LP?

While everyone else freaks out about 3A, I'm going to freak out about something different: That was a 'tano 3Lz-3T! Oh Liza, don't tell me you're joining the 'tano club?! (It does look very good, but... :slink: )

If you can get tickets, go for it! (If she goes for 3A, you might witness history; if she doesn't, you're likely to see a strong, clean program. Win-win. :))

Well, I couldn't see the videos, so... but her 3T-3T was 'tano as well - at least on the second jump. So unless she's doing it on both jumps? - there wouldn't be any increase in that regard?

Yes, both lutz and toe are 'tano. Don't get me wrong, it looks amazing. Still the best in the business. But if she 'tanos her solo lutz, plus the salchow and loop... I'm done. :hopelessness:

I don't think we'll see a double-'tano 3-3 in competition, but who knows, she could have more energy since it's the beginning of the program.

My question is, does bringing back 3Lz-3T mean she's bringing back 2A-3T as well?

Ah, thank you.

So many questions.... So, when is her next competiton then? (she asked, birghtly) Maybe that will provide a few answers...

Maybe this is part of Mishin's Master Plan, though - so many potential scenarios, that the "opposition" won't know which way the cat will jump... ;)

Random question, but is a 3a, 3lz+3t, 3f in second half SP worth more than a 3a, 3lz, 3t+3t in second half one?

(3a+2t, 3lz+3t, 3f, 3lo, 3lz+2t+2o, 3f, 3s?)
