as for GOE - the commentator compared those who held it down to that biggie toy
is there a utube version of other commentary of the SP aside from rus channels & British Eurosport? from NBC for example?

She's gorgeous. A classic diva. Her HUGE 3axel should be a sports headline...............but............it's a jock World. I'm still waiting for ESPN to at least give it a brief mention. I guarantee you if one of the American girls had hit that phat 3 axel ESPN would be showing it to America.

I'm not sure if this interview with Mishin was posted yet. It's very interesting. He believes that the more flexible the skater, the worse the jumps...and he wants to see revision in the way GOE is graded for jumps. I definitely agree w/him on that - it's crazy how much differentiation we see on protocols.

When she cried there talking about her dad, I could not hold my tears too.
They really put it together very well.
And by the way, CaroLizafan, she said she does NOT have a boyfriend!
That's so cute! She improved her English a lot. She understands everything. And it is so cute when she is trying to guess a correct preposition "believe me? for me? to me?"
It is indeed so interesting. He says that it is a law of biomechanics of the human body: when you are flexible your "parts" are going all over, and mentions Hanyu as an example, explaining why he falls so often.

I love hearing about the biomechanics of figure skating. Plushenko was very flexible (Biellmann spin status!) when he was younger, but also prone to falling. It wasn't until after he lost his insane flexibility that he became a more consistent jumper.

I am late joining in but what a triumph! Lisaaaaa! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!
For once I was grateful to British Eurosport for a cut broadcast, it all happened so quickly they didn't show a warm-up, hardly previous group finished as suddenly there was Lisa on the ice and before I could get really nervous the 3A was landed. Magnificent! How she could be so calm & focused - a real Champion!.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow......

On the ice she looks like such a force, very commanding she totally owns the space. Hearing her talk like this you realize that she's still a young girl...
