When I took our kids, the Gala was a challenge.

Misha Ge did a 50 Shades of Grey ex with Madison Chock...and yeah, male skaters are often taking their shirts off (well, maybe not often enough...). I don't think she did anything worse than what you can see in a typical music video. As long as her bra doesn't come off like her hat. :laugh:
 
You know what? Good for her. I genuinely would have liked to have seen her at the Olympics, but now I don't feel so bad for her. She just skated in her bra, living her best life.
 
I was clutching my pearls when she took her jacket off...it was a little too much for me but at the same time I was like YES GIRL YOU DID THAT!! I do think if it were more of like a bralette that has some lace or a crop top with just a bit more fabric it could look more cohesive.

I also love that Liza’s resurgence is making everyone see Mishin in a different light and how he is letting her personality shine.
 
If Liza wants to skate an exhibition in her bra, then by all means, skate on. Who is anyone to try to stunt this woman's confidence? She's so boldly unafraid to take risks and be true to herself. I think I'm going to have to start channeling her anytime I need some self-assurance. What Would the Empress Do? [emoji23]
 
Back to Tat and score after sp, Mishin also wasn’t happy. He said judges haven’t seen a more clean 3A, few can do that, it’s a diamond they don’t appreciate. And overall, seems to imply that she as a skater is underappreciated too.

Lots of people are yakking on about lack of transitions, levels blah blah, that’s why her score wasn’t as high. But that triple axel DEFINITELY deserved higher. At 2015 worlds she got 77. People were also saying that she might have been given negative GOE by some judges for the long setup but it wasn’t very long at all and still
