:ОООООООООО what a surprise! No 3A? Or is this just not bothering to update the program content, à la Pitkeev at Junior Worlds?
It's from the official sheet.

Liza's Planned Program Content at Worlds:
SP: 3T+3T, 3Lz and 2A.
FS: 3Lz+2T+2Lo, 3Lz, 3F, 3T+3T, 3Lo, 3S+2A+SEQ and 2A.

Meanwhile, Mishin in his interview of the 21 March says that Lisa is preparing to attempt 3A in Shanghai.. ???

Moscow, 21 March. TASS [News Agency] A triple axel in figure skating is no guarantee of a victory. This opinion was voiced by Alexei Mishin, whose student, Elizaveta Tuktamisheva is preparing to attempt the 3A at Worlds in Shanghai:
''A triple axel is no guarantee of a victory, it is a big risk. In order to win my student has to execute the rest of the elements the same way she has been doing all this season. But it appears that 3A is worth trying. Neither I as a coach nor Lisa as an athlete has a right to withdraw from this path. Russian ladies skaters must have 3A in their arsenal. And it is not only matter of points. 3A is a different era. In a view of Olympics 2018 we must lead in every aspect of our difficult sport discipline''
But regardles... I think there are advantages to submitting an easier layout than the one she is actually going to attempt - we discussed this here earlier on the thread - so they maybe didn't bother to update it.

I still think 2A is the smarter choice, even if it's not as exciting.
I thought she once tried to jump a 3A, but it turned out be a 2A. Was she testing the competitive ice intentionally before attempting the 3A? I don't know. I cannot upload the clips, sorry guys.
Liza's jump practice this morning in Shanghai went very well! Her 3Lz is to die for!!!I thought she once tried to jump a 3A, but it turned out be a 2A. Was she testing the competitive ice intentionally before attempting the 3A? I don't know. I cannot upload the clips, sorry guys.

:yay:
I think she is determined to attempt the 3A in competitions. Oh, my little fragile heart...Hopefully she can put it out in competition, with everything clean!Liza landed a 3A in practice session successfully!!!
Not the best draw. She won't have the advantage of knowing how others skated, which would take the pressure off (if they skate badly, for obvious reasons; if they skate well, she can think, "Well, I need 3A anyway so I might as well as go for it without fear").Liza is the first to skate in her group!
Good luck Liza for tomorrow !!!!!
sameStill don't expect to see a 3A at Worlds...
