Mishin has been working on this book since 2010-2011. The cover was decided on several months ago, before Liza went on her international winning streak. As much as I love Liza, it did not make sense back then (diff story now of course) to put her on the cover if the cover was meant to create widespread interest in the book. It was either Plush or Adelina. In which case they went for a newer face. It's not a big deal.

Well, from one hand, the title of the book is "Figure Skating like a flight in space" so the picture reflects "flight" with this "flying" Adelina.
From another hand, Mishin (at least from his interviews) seems to be very respectful to Adelina. And it is right as someone said, during of the publication process Liza haven't yet had the achievement/popularity comparable to Adelina.

It's alright, I am sure having Adelina on the cover will help his book sale rating. I hope the book will get re-published soon and the second edition they will use Liza's photo.

I hope so too! Lisa's jumps are out of this world plus she is Mishin's student.
And that hideous dress of Adelina simply was made for the book cover (being sarcastic here)
I don't think so.
There is no need to diss other skaters. Let's just move on from this issue before this gets blown out of proportion even more.

Ahh, in about 3 hours we will know about 3A, good luck Lisa!!!
Btw, I was re-watching yesterday (thanks to the sky+ box) LP at Euros on British ES and during the last group warm-up Chris was talking about Lisa and said that he saw Lisa do 3A in practice and that she did it like a guy. I wonder whether he meant he saw live during practice at Euro? Were there any videos?

Lynn is reporting that she did indeed try it but fell. Score of 66.75 no more info now.

As far as I know it was only planned for SP. And I do hope that the question is settled now and they won't try it this season again - it is just too soon. Considering Lisa has been only a few months from the injuries and that she proved she can win without 3A, is it really worth a risk. Hope it wasn't a bad fall

Actually... that doesn't sound that bad at all. I'm not saying that she should go for it at Worlds' - but I think there is pretty good hope she could get it by next season.
Or (struck by thought) - what about World Team Trophy?
Also, this is her first fall in - what? - ten competitions? (or am I misremembering?) I think she's earned a pass for one fall - and on a 3A at that!

Liza cannot UR! That's good news actually.
As it could be predicted the rest of the program wasn't as good as it could be (lutz "only" +2 or +1 and something went wrong on combo?) and PCS suffered.
Not the risk to put on Worlds yet.
So she need to work on landing it but the fact that she fully rotates it is great!
