By the way, is there some way to translate all of that at once? Google translate says it has translated the page - except it is still all in Russian. When I try to copy it into Google translate, it only translates when I have copied one question at a time - which is... tedious. Is that the only way?

If you use Chrome as your browser, you can change your language settings to automatically translate all Russian pages to English, or even Swedish, I suppose. :) Maybe other browsers have this option too, but I don't use them so I can't say for sure.

Not sure what's going on there, but I regularly paste huge swathes of text into Google translate, and it works no problem...

...and in the case of Liza's ask page, I just copied the URL into Google translate and it gave me a translated version of the whole page....

Thanks! That actually worked - I didn't know one could do that (I'm basically computer illiterate, so... )

@gallavich - No, not Chrome - IE; besides that sounds wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy beyond my capability levels (which are very low - see above - in fact, I suspect it would be hard to underestimate just how low;)); but thanks for trying to help.:)

Well, I don't know how those work really, but... If it's Papa Mishin at the rope, and he pulled her that high all by himself.... he's one stong dude... er, gentleman.:)

Well she just sealed her own fate... I think she is destined to fall helplessly in love with a gorgeous Russian Olympic swimmer.
They're all wearing those bodysuits or long tights nowadays - is it still necessary for them to shave?
And really - who wants a guy with shaved legs?

I just saw that Google translate actually offered to always translate Russian automatically - but since it isn't actually translating anything at all at the moment (it asserted it had translated the Sergei artticle in his thread, but... that was a barefaced lie, as it was still in Russian... ), presumably there's some problem with my computer or something. Anyway, thanks again for the help.:)

No, it's not your computer. Google Translate doesn't always work properly (and other times, it works too well, translating pages that I didn't want translated!). But it's better than the old days of Babelfish, at least. Sometimes refreshing the page will get it to work.

in Microsoft's Bing translator.
And I still use it! Sometimes it gives better translations than Google...
oh thanks a lot
I usually translate with google or Translate.ru
try to use Bing sometime

For now the guy takes the cake who puts Liza's pic on his nightstand before making love to his wife in order to have a daughter who looks like Liza:points::laugh2:

I've been debating for a while now whether to register with ask.fm.

I have asked lots of questions on it in the past, but that was before Ask Jeeves bought ask.fm and changed it so that you have to sign in to ask questions.

So, what sort of things do you have to tell them when you register? And, apart from being able to ask questions, what are the benefits of registering?

Drat! I've been rumbled!

Only joking! For a start, I don't have a girlfriend never mind a wife... :disapp:

Are you serious?! Did somebody really write that?! :jaw:

And I thought the trolls on the YouTube streams were weird...

I don't think you have to provide much info at all...it's pretty quick and painless. Benefit - you can follow people & read all the newest Q&As on your homepage collectively, instead of having to go to their individual pages all the time. And you can still stay anonymous if you ask a question.

yep the benefit is ask Q & stay anonimous (I did:biggrin:)

btw
the latest Mao vs Liza thread in General forum:rolleye::rolleye::rolleye:
yep Liza was winning only b/c of the mafia judges tru dat:cool:

Why do you guys want to remain anonymous so much? What type of questions are you asking? ;)
