Because Liza is an angel in black. :) Never mind, black costumes are most suitable for her music choice. Actually they look much more beautiful than those of her last season's.
 
both dresses are great!

FS is not as good as last year's (but Im a fan of the East so:biggrin:).

Black - it's The Plushy Effect.

As for her FP - I think what it is, is that it lacks commitment at this point. I believe it is sufficiently out of Liza's comfort zone, to make her feel a little hesitant, slightly unvonvinced, and therefore not fully able to convince us, the audience. But I actually like it, and I think that when it settles, and if Liza can become comfortable with it, it will be really good. We'll see. Next outing: Japan Open. There are a few more weeks until then, and it will be interesting to see the development.

Oh, and I like both dresses - and, amusingly, I'm not even that fond of black! - the only thing I'd change, is to cinch the FP dress a little in the waist. I like the slightly longer-than-usual skirt, as it gives a nice, flowy effect to it. Like Yuko's dresses often have.

I think both programs are great, which show that Liza's skating has reached a whlole new level. Since this is only the test skate, I believe they will become better and better with the new season rolling on. Can't wait to see her competing at Japan Open!

No need to be concerned. She was or still is ill. This competition is not important at all. She will be OK when Grand Prix time comes.

I see it as she is some kind of mysterious bird that transfers into nightingale, and then becomes a dark queen. :)
I love this program, and I hope Liza will get healthy and return to her last season form soon.
