Elizaveta Tuktamysheva

I would be totally stoked if Liza was added to Russia's World team since I am going and would be thrilled to see her skater in person.

When will be the Russian Cup final held? I still think Liza's chance to join the World team is within her hand if she regains her last season's form.

According to the comments here http://www.sports.ru/others/figure-skating/1036715334.html , Liza is not going to take part in the Russian Cup final. Mishin isn't going to "send" her to worlds. She was invited to participate in Team Challenge Cup.
It was said by A.N. Mishin in private talk with Gennadiy Demchenko http://www.sports.ru/profile/146033598/comments/

:sad21:
If that is really the case, then he changed his mind. And the reason for the change of mind perhaps has to do with her current form. But we shall see. Thanks for the link.

Edit:
Alright, I've read his past comments. His info is very likely true.

That's why I use "according to..." and "private talk". It's not an official information. On the other hand, Gennadiy usually writes nice reports from the competitions and makes some quotes from his talks with coaches and sportsmen. He always gives links to protocols, results, and other information about competititons.

He mentioned that Mishin flew back to SPB before the tournament ended. That is what I heard from another source as well. It gives me some reason to think that his info is probably reliable.

Anyway, I wish Liza and A.N. Mishin best luck with the new SP and 3A. Really look forward to her happy tears (just like it was at Skate Canada after LP).

Wh.. What?

Well then, only two competitive Russian girls are sent to the worlds. Third place as always will be weak. :(

well its a chance to lower ranked girls then
& come to think of it if Papa thinks she's not ready for wiorlds then he knows better

Id be sad to see her there & bomb:( She needs to keep her rep!

Anna may not be consistent but she can absolutely compete. She should have gotten bronze in 2014 and she was skating injured at Worlds last year. She's not "weak" compared to most of the rest of the world.

I'm glad I get to see Liza in Spokane!

oh no, I didn't mean it :( just if you look at japanese and american girls, Anna probably with her problems will be lower than they :(

I'm sure Mishin knows what he's doing. We need Elizaveta in shape and with regained confidence! Next season is more important than this season, because it's the season prior to the next olympic season.
I sorely missed her at Europeans.

I was sorely conflicted about what to wish for re Liza and Worlds'.

For one I of course wished her to go, and ace everything. And I have no doubt she could do that. But would she? Would she be ready? And I didn't want her to go there and perform below her capabilities - especially considering the backlash she'd get for "taking" the spot in the first place.

So, I decided not to hope or wish, but just assume that whatever did happen, was for the best.

So, if Papa Mishin has decided she isn't ready yet, and doesn't want to put that burden on her, well, then, I think I have my answer. (Note: I realise this is not yet official info, but assuming it is correct for the nonce.)

And I'll look forward to seeing her (and Jason... and Nam) at TCC.:)

And I'm so looking forward to seeing her new SP next week. I hope there will be videos!

Liza has already won Worlds before so perhaps it's not worth the risk of going if she is not in good shape. If she goes and does poorly, then that could possibly be a big psychological blow to her, which she does not need at this point.

Aww, I love her and since I am going to Worlds was hoping she would be there. Hopefully next season will be better for her
