Yes, Liza.:)

Even the dress doesn't look bad - a) not a curtain, b) doesn't look like she'll fall out of it. It's black - but really, who cares at this point?;) :)

I'm very pleasantly surprised by Liza's SP, she's a serious contender for an Olympic spot!

It's an old costume of hers, I suppose there will be a new one. (She wore this one in 2012 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdvmJFTcdl8)

Ah, yes, now you point it out, it did feel a bit familiar - but I didn't know if it was only because she may have worn something similar. Oh, well... Let's hope that her real costume isn't... well... sigh... Anyway, so far so good.:) Liza is back. :)

I like her program this year. Looking forward to polishment of the program but her jumps are marvelous as expected. And she seems to have enjoyed it. So good work!

That was great! I especially liked the shoulder shimmies, she looks like she's having fun out there!

Looking forward to seeing her free program and how everything develops this season! :cheer:

Thrilled she's back, I feel like (unless Pogo comes back) she is surely going to be the third Russian lady at the Olympics. I enjoyed her shimmies, she clearly loves the program and has so much fun and that just draws you in.

Btw, some trolls on youtube called it tits shaking :laugh2:

During the off-season, most of the news we got about her, was her traveling somewhere or hanging out with her boyfriend.

Now that the season is starting, she's doing great, looks super-fit and there's even talk of triples axels. She must have trained like crazy, even though she was not posting about it. When people talked about the Russian team, she was either considered a long shot or not even mentioned at all as contender. Now she seems to be a much more likely pick if she keeps it up.

It wouldn't surprise me if she tried to stay under the radar on purpose. It must have been a bit of a shock to her competition as well, to have former world champion, triple axel able Elizaveta back in the race.

Oh, I SO hope she does well this year. That program looked great, and I love watching her jumps. They're so effortless-looking.

I agree with all the above comments on Liza's new season(just reply to the most recent). Only that I think if she keeps on this track and gets better over the season, she will be ready for the 2nd spot, not 3rd.

I agree. And jumps are supposed to look that way, like doing them is the easiest thing ... and great to see her looking so confident out there again. She's still fresh, different and beautiful.
I just hope that she'll wear very short skirts this season, she has very fine legs and should show them off.

I agree with this - except I like long-ish skirts.:) But as for her costuming, I'll settle for something - anything - that isn't.. well... ugly. But, at this point, if she's happy & confident, I don't care if she goes out and skates in a bedsheet. Which, perhaps, she might.;)

Pleasantly surprised to come away from the test skates thinking Liza was looking the best - at least from a technical perspective. She looks in fantastic shape, and all the jumps were there. Looks like she's gone back to the 2015 layout, which I'm fine with. I don't think a triple axel is going to win an Olympic gold; consistent, 7-triple free skates will. If she lands those big, effortless jumps and adds some more transitions, I think she's right back in the conversation, especially with how shaky some of Medvedeva's passes looked.

I'm just so excited she's back in the conversation. Her programs in 2015 are amongst my favourite, and I was beginning to think that was it for her, when it came to glory.
But Liza trained hard and is back. Hope she keeps it up all season

:agree:
