The Empress of awesomeness, indeed! This FP suits her so well, she has so much fun performing it, and the result is that it delivered her the highest PCS of the competition - 73.22. Also, her performance and interpretation of the music scores were the highest in the field; I haven't seen the entirety of the women's FP, but Liza definitely does deserve recognition for the way she makes this music hers.
Congratulations to her on her silver medal! And on getting every 3A that she planned landed!

Exactly ten years ago today, on October 29th 2011, Liza Tuktamysheva won GP Skate Canada 2011. She was 14 years old. It was her senior Grand Prix debut.
Tonight she will skate her SP at GP Skate Canada 2021. She is a serious podium threat and contender for an Olympic spot. May the Empress skate as long as it makes her happy!

Hi everyone! I loved Liza since forever and I didn't mind her weaknesses because her charisma always made her shine. But I'm just so incredibly proud of the work she's done to improve her speed, stamina and SS. This SP works for her so much, she looks so polished, mature. I'm in awe.
