Hi, just to give you all a little update on Ellie. She has now returned to the ice! Refreshed and focused after her break. She is doing a solo season and looking for a new partner. Josh has a new partner already but Ellie and Josh are still the best of friends.

I was actually intending to contact you a few weeks ago to ask how Ellie was. I had been looking at IPS, and came across Josh's profile and thought "Ah. I wonder how they are getting on". But, then things got on top of me, and I never got round to it.

It is good to hear that Ellie is refreshed and back on the ice. When you are unsure of things, it is sometimes better to just take a step back. And it sounds like having this break away from the ice has helped Ellie re-discover her love of skating.

I'm sure she'll find a new partner soon. But, in the meantime, all the best to Ellie with her solo dancing.

And all the best to Josh and his new partner as well.

I'm so glad!! Surprised, since Josh was skating with someone else, but definitely pleased, and I wish them both the best of luck. Britain's ice dance scene certainly is getting stronger, seeing this week's Europeans representation, and I can't wait to see them add to the mix.

After our first week training back together it feels like we've never been apart

Hello!

We've not posted anything in a little while so wanted to update everyone about what's been happening.

Ellie and I have decided to take a break from competitive skating for the moment.

We've been through a lot together and will always be the best of friends

I'm continuing to skate on my own and Ellie is learning to coach herself.

We want to thank everyone for the support they've shown Team Jellie, especially our coaches Sophie, Neil, David, Woody and Nick

It's lovely seeing them growing up together through the photos, but at the same time it is sad, because we know that they have now gone their separate ways.

It's not often that male ice dancers come on the market. So, if any female ice dancers out there are reading this, he would be a good catch.

They are from Nottingham which will host next year's Championships.

British fans may recognize Ellie O'Connell who used to be an Ice Dancer. Her former partner Joshua Tarry is now skating for Canada.
