Best of luck to Evgenia and Vladimir in Minsk. I hope to see them on top of the podium but I do expect a strong challenge from the French. I loved both their performances in Russian Nationals especially the free, I felt it had a real emotional punch. It was certainly their best performances of the season.

I loved their Rach short last season, so I am delighted to see it back. It was a wonderful demonstration of all that is great in Pairs skating. Looking forward to seeing it again.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE their free program to "The Winter", I don't want them to change the music, but when I watched Weaver/Pojes FD (tribute to Denis Ten) at the Canadian Nationals, I felt like their music could suit Zhenya and Vova too... so here you go:

First thing this morning after checking the results, I went to watch T/M! Beautiful skating as always!

However, call me a nut but while I like Rach 2, I just really loved I Feel Good, I dunno why, I didn't find it awkward, I found it fun!

Still, despite the hitches in the SP the twist and the throw jump were gorgeous! Sadly I won't be able to watch them skate the FS, but I'm behind them all the way! Go Zhenya and Vova!

It's Baikal lake judging by commentaries. Surely it's funny. As Vova put, Zhenya didn't take her skates but had a little ride on him.

Me three! I was trying not to spoil myself, but when I saw they were leading...I'm so happy for them! Whatever else happens they have a small gold medal - heck yeah!

I kinda feel like rubbing it in everyone who put T/M down's faces with a big "COP THAT", I feel like a bad person!

Delighted for T/M that was by far their best performance of the season. It got a fantastic audience reaction and is deservedly in first place. They seemed so happy and relaxed afterwards. The twist was just breathtaking, it should have been 5’s across the board. As said the previously the height and distance on 3ThL was crazy.

Best of luck in the free. It would be great to see them in 1st.

Well...they got 2nd. Sui and Han were just too good.

I have to say I'm utterly deflated...I was so hopeful! Now all their detractors will gloat about how T/M were never going to win and how boring they are. I really hope T/M are happy with how they skated and they're not sobbing like me.

I had such an awful feeling this would happen when I saw Sui and Han were skating last...

Please excuse this morose post, I'm not well today and I feel like I shouldn't have watched, I was not prepared for this after how well Zhenya and Vova did.
