Evgenia Tarasova & Vladimir Morozov

Mozer said Tarasova/Morozov would perform quad twist during the Russian Nationals! :yahoo: I am sure it would be spectacular!
 
According to Mozer their performance looks fantastic! I really hope they will make it to the Euros. Obviously it will be very difficult but maybe V/T aren't fully ready yet and T/M could beat them. Or maybe they could beat Yuko/Sasha. They did beat them last year at the Russian nationals.

I haven't seen any info about them going to the Russian Cup final but I am sure they will because they still have a chance at making it to the Boston. They just need to skate better than what Yuko and Sasha does at the Europeans. And I am sure that they will.
 
Congrats to these two on their 3rd place finish in the SP! I think it's the best performance they've ever skated!

she is such a deadringer to retired russian pair skater Evgenia Shiskova :shocked:

their style and personality are so Shishkova / Naumov - the good but not great enough russian pair skaters,
so they need to show more personality

Vladimir Morozov: We're working on it, but in Bratislava in any program will not show it. Triple on the "plus three" on a scale is worth about the same. While not modify the complex item in the plus zone, insert it in the program does not make sense. We work on the quad and release, and next season we hope to show the result of this work.

I think their score was fine. It was the other pair's PCS that was way too high, considering how much lower their TES was.

That wasn't the point. After their SP one could tell that 200 points were well within their reach. And I really hoped they would score above it.
 
T/M's fan fest has only 4 pages? I can't believe this. They are adorable and have a lot potential. I hope they could get more powerful choreography next season.
 
I thought that they did very well with their SP at Euros this time. It was what I was hoping for when I first saw it at the Russian test skates - but it hadn't quite lived up to expectations since. But this time it did.:)

So, I've been thinking what music would best suit them - anyone have any ideas?
