Its possibly they maybe have talked about marriage.

um, okay, it happens), do you think he would lie about this? And why? To
protect Evgeni's younger fans? Explain, please?

I also when I read the topic of this thread and thought Evgeny was a little young to get married, but I think as long as he and his fiancée are happy together, that's the most important thing. Congratulations and best of luck to them!

Hmmm well perhaps maybe he feels that being in a relationship and if the talk about marriage is being talked about, maybe Ali thinks it would distract him with his skating and for the Olympics in 2006. So maybe he's just going on saying its not true. I mean the only person that would really know if its a lie or what the real reason as to why he would say such as thing, is Ali himself.

There were rumors that the girlfriend before Yulianna was 28. Evgeni said
some things that sort of pointed to that, but it was never confirmed. But wo
knows? There were also rumors he dated Tatiana Basova, but I don't think
those were ever confirmed/denied either. Gosh, I love the internet rumor
mill!
