Four Continents -- who'll go?

United States - They've aleady have had two cheesefests so it is not all that important that the stars show up for 4CC. It would be nice to see Bebe and Alyssa there with Megan Oster, Megan Williams Stewart and Danielle Kahle. Is Taylor Firth a senior this year?

Let's forget about Evan and Johnny and have a look at Abbot, Carriere, Ratteree, Pennington, Rouse and Steenberg.

Yes, Taylor Firth is a Senior. She was 2nd at Eastern Sectionals.

Traighe Rouse qualified for Sectionals but withdrew due to an injury, so he won't be at Nationals and isn't in the running for an international assignment.

Just remember that the 4CC spots are offered to the Seniors in order of their finish at Nationals. Last year, the top two in Men and the top 3 in Ladies (Cohen, Meissner, Hughes, Weir and Lysacek) declined 4CC. The spots went to Savoie (3rd), Weiss (4th), Smith (5th), Taylor (4th), Liang (5th) and Zukowski (6th). Ladies and Men who finish below 6th are probably out of it, unless one of the top 6 is age-ineligible.

I just read from a Chinese article. I'm surprised as well since shen & zhao plan to compete at both 'The Asian Winter Games' and 4cc.

Zhang & zhang are going to 'Winter Universiade' and 'The Asian Winter Games'.

Pang & Tong are going to 'The Asian Winter Games'.
