Hard to believe Fukushima was 15 years ago....seems like yesterday....so terrible....

There was a special on TV about it last night, very heartfelt and moving (and scary!)Hard to believe Fukushima was 15 years ago....seems like yesterday....so terrible....
Yuzuru performed Requiem of Heaven and Earth in a special broadcast for the earthquake anniversary, the Olympics website and The Japan News, along with many others) it's a day of remembrance for Fukushima but also for the thousands who suffered) covered the interview and spoke more about the disaster.

I can still see the video in my head....cars and everything else washed away like so many toys. There is that story...and the story of the power plant...one one with the back up generators in basements....not that any one thing could have saved it.....

I remember myself following the news 15 years ago, in fear and shock, praying and hoping that at least this power plant stands on, not to make it into something even worse than it already was. Yeah.... Fukushima...I can still see the video in my head....cars and everything else washed away like so many toys.
