Tx so much to share it with us, please keep posting. Guillaume is unbelievable but what about Gaby, as you probably read people are already saying how even weaker than him she looks this season. I don't agree at all, ı can't imagine him with anuone else, IMO she brings the drama out of him.
I just think that people comparing the two members of one given couple usually reach the conclusion that the man is stronger than the woman. I heard this so many times and I think this is just fake as the male and female dancers have different roles and different constraints. Second, if one partner looks really weak then the other one also looks weak and, as a consequence, the couple looks weak! This is obvious and it can't be otherwise.
Now, on my side, from time to time, I like to compare women from different couples or men from different couples. When I say that Guillaume is THE dancer of this competition, it just means that he is imHo the best dancer among all the male ice dancers, which means btw ... that Gabriella is a great dancer too!
Of course, Gabriella was heavily impacted by this very serious injury but she demonstrated how mentally strong she is by performing so well yesterday.
In any case, I love them. One is the strength of the other and vice versa. They are so unique as a couple.

#alain06fr, again it's so great to have our very own P/C's fan watching live in Bratislava. I'd like to ask about C/L even though I know we're in a P/C thread but you're the only over there. What do you think of their ice coverage, Anna's much talked about edges, are they really on the flat side ?, and finally about their glide, do they tend to hop along rather than seamlessly gliding ?

The FD was already very nice during the Nationals, but they have really improved it! As expected, they had the time to make it better and proved that they are NOT out! Far from it!
Wishing them a 2nd straight world title! Not going to be easy, but it IS possible!

what a comeback! I was already in tears about 30 seconds after they started the dance and the emotion just kept piling up. Tissues were far away from me and I didn't want to miss a second of the free dance so I used my T shirt to wipe those tears lol. Everything was so beautiful and sensational. Just one thing, um...I wished there were more subtle movements(?) on Gabriella's facial expression on the first half of the free dance, because it was a little little bit too 'consistent'. That intense look was great but I think she can do better. Or probably it was just because of the heavy makeup on her eyes that distracted me from time to time. Anyway, I really loved this free dance and I cried every single time watching it. Wish the best of them on the upcoming Worlds.

So excited that Gabriella & Guillaume won Europeans! This is a great sign for their chances in Boston. 
We will see what the Canadian and American teams look like at 4CCs next month, but I'm excited that there will be GREAT ice dance competition at Worlds!

Worlds is just gonna be tough, Ice dance has become the most interesting competition of the four IMO with Hanyu dominating and the russian ladies killing it, not much there. Way to go ice dance :agree:
Going back to P/C, I love the changes at the end of their FD, that lift where she leans on him. They are breathtaking, my daughter had to remind me to actually breathe even though the program was already finished for couple of minutes
Anecdotal though funny, my 11 years old son called the extended lift on C/L , I cracked up so hard. Never to early to produce ice dance fans

It was completely mad in the arena ! In a few seconds, the audience was completely captivated by the elegance and the beauty they had in front of them. All technical elements were blended into choreographic moves so that the audience applauded the 1st lift then the twizzles, etc until the end. That is the strength of Gabriella and Guillaume: Appeal to the emotions and believe me, that was sensational. In the arena, I was completely impressed by the reactions of the people surrounding me (I was almost the only french guy in this part of the arena!). At the end, many had tears on theirs faces or even crying. It's almost impossible to describe it.

And the arena was packed to witness them in all their glory. So great for them to get such a reaction from the crowd. Even through the screen, I could feel the air so thick with emotions out there.
This performance was awesome it was just .... FABULOUS, I think I just didn't breathe at all during the whole program I was just so captivated by their art. Qu'est ce que je suis heureuse et fière d'être française quand j'ai la chance de voir cet art si bien représenté par de si belles personnes.
