Gabriella Papadakis & Guillaume Cizeron

Once again, they are out of this world.
It was 4 minutes of intense poetry. Everything works so well together: the music, the costumes, the choreography, the difficulties, and last but not least, Gaby's and Guillaume's interpretation.
The score is massive...16 points on the silver medalists. Gaby and Guillaume looked very surprise as well.
Ohh I can't wait for videos on youtube. I need to rewatch it

PS: I absolutely love the lift at the beginning of Diaz and Smart program. I'd love to see Gabby and Guillaume try something like this

The podiums and medals are so.. hahaaha. The standing space is so small for each couple, it's kind of funny them trying to fit both people in.

It's such a shame we won't be able to see them in GP Final, they are truly outstanding and THE unquestionable power couple of ice dance.

"The sofa's from Ikea, partner of the competition, are awarded by the undersecretary of the Unemployment Office of the Département of Alpes-Isère"...
What on earth do skaters do with all these watches they get?

Guillaume needs to learn his part a little better, otherwise i really liked this choreography. I could compare this program to a madly in love couple

Love the new FD. The start really shows off their lines and what sets them apart. I also enjoyed the sexier vibe. The actual skating was superb! I love just watching them move across the ice.

Watched again...it always amazes me how time flies while watching them. It was beautiful no question, but I also feel like it can still progress. I must say that while I quite like the music, I definitely prefer the music for their last 3 FDs, particularly the 2016/2017 music.

Urgh too many unnecessary and wrongly timed change of camera angles. Guillaume performed the character step sequence with total commitment and confidence of a dancer, but I didn’t see the same from Gabby, unless it's so conceived—that she projects a softer line.

i love that fd- what to say despite hitting nearly every level (some of us had been concerned, that the gadbois group has issues with the steps- what a relieve...) this is pure contemporary dance. so modern, passionate and soft and fluid and sharp. the lifts fit perfectly into the routine. and i am one of the few who love the music, our dance company choose rachael yamagata for one of their choreographies ("nobody") what was mesmerizing as this routine is for me. i have to admit, i had tears in my eyes. they just dance with such an honesty, i believe them when they dance and i think i understand them. they usually speak directly to my heart and soul, but i don´t know what is different this year, they also connect with my brain - this is a different feeling but a wonderful feeling. i just can say thank you so much gabriella and guillaume for this gift. i am blown away.....

I totally agree with you. It's really where Guillaume completely outshines Gabriella. It just amazes me how he can dance this way on the ice. He is phenomenal. But Gabriella is so emotional. She impersonates love and delicacy in this program. They are a perfect couple because they can perform a program together and yet feel differently.

I watched the FD like 4 times already and I am going to watch it again before tonight I think but TBH, they are moving forward. This program is IMO still avantgardiste because of how intimate it is. It's something we've never seen from them so far. It's just like they are taking us in their love stories (it's crazy to talk about a love story when we know there is nothing romantic between them. That's just how good they are).
I also felt like this program is refined and stripped down of all the unecessary moves. The choreography is "pure". They are giving us only what is needed.
It's another step forward. They are still pushing ID closer to actual traditional dancing. It's just insane

I just don't like the music. I want to watch it again and again and again because they are so brilliant (and I can see how much better this is than what they did before in the tech department and the complexity) but I really feel bleeehhh when the music changes. It's the first time since forever (well, 4 years to be more precise) that I want to turn the volume off.

Julie Wie (if I remember her name correctly) can't come soon enough with a video with a good song over it.

I fully agree that they push ice dance into real dancing, which is magnificent.

I agree with pretty much everything being said. It does seem even more intimate than usual and more like a dance than ever before. Their contrasting styles and personalities complement each other on ice (and off). They live every moment and every movement.

I'd love a little more contrast within this music though.
