Gabriella Papadakis & Guillaume Cizeron

Yes, I know it's frustrating. One of my big pleasure was to watch their progression from COC to Worlds last year. Now we'll just have two decent outing ( decent in terms of camera footage not performance ). But at least, they gave us such great programs again. I love their SD too like last year's SD, they manage to imprint their style on it. It might explain the lower scores but they'll get there. I'm sure they'll find a way to keep their style and get the scores in the SD.
To make us wait till Worlds, let' take a trip down memory lane with baby P/C rocking some already avant-garde moves on Matrix Reloaded back in 2009:

I recorded both SD and FD from Euros and admit I watch them every day!
I will keep them for now to compare if they have made changes.I love the SD I hope they get a better score for it.The only thing I'm not sure about is using the same lift in the FD as the SD .Can't wait to see them again and hope they retain their title .I think they've got a pretty big chance!

So, I guess it's safe to say that Gabriella and Guillaume will be selected for Team Europe for the Team Challenge Cup in April in Spokane? This should make things fun to watch - and how cool is it that Christopher Dean is the captain for Team Europe! :)

So is this supposed to replace the World Team Trophy ? Because I think this is a much better idea to have only 3 teams rather than 6 country based teams. It will make for a more balanced competition otherwise only US, Russia and Canada can medal.

It is more balanced, but still not enough to me. I mean, only US and Canada skaters are eligeable for Team America, which is very unfair to me, considering there're also skaters in southern countries like Mexico and Argentina. I know it's based on ISU ranking, but still not enough.

But anyway, it's OT to talk about this subject here, lol! I'm sure Gabriella and Guillaume will participate. Team Europe is well balanced, the results will be interesting. 😊

OMG Christopher Dean
I hope Mister Dean could be motivate to make their FD next year ;) (a not olympic year)

And you are not alone, I see the FD at least 3 times by day and it's always so beautiful

Gabriella and Guillaume are selected for Team Europe for the Team Challenge Cup :luv17: ....they will have a very busy April's month with also French's team tour which begins just the day after the end of World Championships:bed:

They will work together with Christopher Dean at the Team Challenge Cup? That legend, Dean? how wonderful.. Team Europe is a dream team...

Worlds will start in 10 days from now. Can't wait to be in Boston :-)

"Build a home" is such a gem.

Everything is just fantastic in this program: The music, the costumes (many thanks to Guillaume!), the choreography, the transitions, the lifts, the spins, the twizzles, the footwork and of course Gabriella and Guillaume... fabulous ice dancers...

The countdown has begun, fingers crossed, I hope everything will go well for them and they will leave Boston with a second title

Honestly, let's give a huge "applause via internet" and big thanks to Marie-France Dubreuil, Romain Haguenauer and Patrice Lauzon.
They definitely deserve this huge "applause via internet" as they are fantastic coaches.

Marie-France, I would like to thank you so much for this brilliant interview recorded in Bordeaux during TEB 2015. This 20 minutes interview was so great, with so many interesting details about Gabriella and Guillaume, Gabriella's concussion, Worlds 2015 in Shanghai and of course "Build a home". In the name of all the lovely fans in this forum, please grant us a similar interview for next season.

Marie-France, Romain and Patrice, you want Gabriella and Guillaume to deliver modern, class, elegant, outstanding and powerful performances and they actually do! Million thanks for your advices and your coaching!

Very well said, their coaching team did wonders bringing out what is so special about Gaby and Guillaume. Waiting for Worlds I found this very well done playlist called "Papadakis Cizeron: a history" put together by breathesgelatin. You can see how they evolved to this day. It's wonderful to see they already had something so special right from the start, but their Montreal coaching team fully brought it out for everyone to see. They also matured quite fast compared to all the other teams considering some junior teams right now have nearly the same age as them  yet, they look so at ease in their own style. Anyway, here is the link for those of you who haven't discovered this playlist yet:

Their complicity was obvious already. I would love to see videos of their first programs when they were still young, (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009)
