Gabriella Papadakis & Guillaume Cizeron

I have posted the video of the twizzles during the warm-up rehearsal on my instagram.
I am not superstitious but I did not want to post it before the SD was over
Now you can watch it!

Thanks, one is never too careful.

They're magical and it seems that it is their weak point:clap: Merci à eux:love:
Comments English presenters are fabulous:luv17:

Can you give the link please.
I'm happy to see the audience be fairplay and applause the beauty they're seeing.

i wanna believe that despite that they still have a chance to win because they're so unique. but home crowd for the shibs and alex was so happy about skating last looks like he thinks it's in the Pocket for them.

just like last year the judge wanted the french to win what about now? the shibs are great but would they take the risk to put them as world champion knowing they have struggled to find their style for many years or will they keep the french as leader in ice dance.
because they don't know where they're going with the shibs while papciz have proven themself, they're not a one time thing.

Yes they were great, Boston audience is classy and supported all the skaters tonight but Gaby has mentioned how great the atmosphere was on her instagram. I'm relieved but will get nervous very soon for tomorrow. It's funny they got exactly the same draw as last year's World for both SD and FD except this year it's not C/L but S/S after them. I'm a bit worried but hey that's all I've been for weeks now.

The one position I didn't want them to have to skate was AFTER the Shibs, because that Coldplay number is stellar and really gets the audience going. I anticipate a massive ovation for the Shibs after they skate (and rightly so, I love that number too) and that could make anyone nervous. Skating after C/B should be to their advantage too because you will see the huge contrast between those teams in terms of, well, everything!

Yep, I share your opinion and there's one thing I am sure about as I felt it in the arena at Europeans : It's quite difficult to skate after "Raining in your black eye" / "Build a home" as this program is a pure gem. As they said on Eurosport, they got 111.97 (almost 112) for their FD at Europeans but still, they were underrated which can be understandable as it was their very first official int'l competition. Gabriella and Guillaume have the potential to get at least 115 points and may be more when I see the results of the SD... 76.29 points!!

World's almost end the season and it sounds like the juries wanted to award clearly the best teams today and I guess they will do so tomorrow for the FD.

One moe thing I can tell you but you may noticed that as well while watching on internet or on TV: Today, the US Team which got the biggest support from the audience in the arena was S/S. The second one was clearly Madison Hubbell and Zach Donohue. Chock and Bates got a good support but not as much as H/D.

On the other hand, the Canadian fans supported all their teams equally I must say.

And I can confirm something I already noticed after the warm-up rehearsal, the big majority of the asian fans brought a huge support to Gabriella and Guillaume. It seems like they are really popular in Japan, China or South-Korea which could be a good sign for the 2018 Olympics.

to be honest, I'm fairly calm about Gabriella and Guillaume's successful defending of World title - they are too different and too unique in the field it's almost painful to see, especially for some skaters and their coaches ('sour grapes' attitude much? I recommend to train harder and find your own way to achieve success without accusing other's success of having all 'simple programs'). Seeing a big improvement since Europeans in SD and the score I have no doubt they'll break 114 pts in FD or go even further. Last year they were ones who chased the top 3 and they made it with a comfortable distance (they got +112 whereas other couldn't pass past 110), so this year looking that they are leading with 2 pts margin above perfect Shibutanis is quite intimidating for others and incredible for them I presume.

I share the same opinion.

Yeah, fully agree on that too, this story of "simple programs" is just... b-u-l-l-s-h-i-t

Yes, what an easy way out instead of rethinking their own overwrought formulas. Anyhow, was there any practice for the FD today ? I did not see any video of them preparing for it. What would we do without you ;)

Well... LOL... good question.
I understood Ice dancers trained early this morning, just before the Ladies.
I just checked the timetables for today.
The Ladies SP ends just before 17h54mn30s and the warm-up of the first group for the Ice Dance FD starts at 19h00 hence there's still spot of 1h30 in between both competitions for ice dancers to rehearse but it's sound a bit tied (even though we only have 20 left for the FD).
I'll check.

Still I can’t follow all comments fully, but thanks for your guys! What I want to say now is they are just treasures! Now I’m determined that I shall see them live someday.

Once you 'll see them live, you'll die... They are so impressive and so different from all other couples... It's really difficult to describe.
I initially did not plan to come to Boston but after I saw their programs in Bratislava, I immediately booked my flights and my tickets just when I came back home.

Come to Marseille in December !! ;)

Wow! It may be possible (Sorry it’s personal topic, but I am moving to Czech in 5 month or so for my husband’s job (It’s today’s News for us..). It’s not so far from Czech to Marseille, at least much closer than from Japan!)

Their amazing skating must keep inspiring you. Keep up with your skating, Pika! ;)
