Well, for now I would prefer to see them bring in outside influences like they have done this year (Dean, Cirio) rather than leave Gadbois. I'm also biased because I tend to dislike Marina style FDs and I think she requires too much creative control over her teams. The shibs are in a unique position and have more bargaining power than her teams usually get because of the rink they train in. In any case, all we have to do is follow Romain to know what will happen. I am confident at least that P/C will not be leaving him.

I agree that Marina's style is a little too clunky and traditional compared to MFD's vision.

Canton, Michigan is also no match for Montreal when it comes to quality of life.

So true, this is a factor that cannot be counted out (perhaps a huge one when it comes to certain people)... Montreal (and Canada) is on my travel list !
At some point Nathalie and Fabian used to train in Moscow with Zhulin, and they talked about living in a very small space, sharing a room , the language bareer etc...
Plus, it can be nice if they can have Montreal as a permanent training base (until the end of their career) to have their friends around, living in a great city, you can speak French or English, your choice and it's perfect for young adults, but constantly seeking outside help when it comes to figure skating. That would probably be ideal.

I don’t think P/C will do well with Marina Zueva’s style. So I am glad it’s just rumors. Also I don’t think Didier has much power over P/C especially when they train outside of the country.

I've been watching their 2013/14 routine lately and since then been dying to see their mature self tackling that style. Just to be clear, by style I don't mean they should change their "style"... if you know what I mean, more like returning to the roots.
