Yep. We're not getting them. I already wondered why we were not allowed a close up during warming up. Apparently we're not allowed to see it yet.
Really, what a stupid bummer. If they didn't want us to see it, just tell that in advance. I could have slept by now. Man, what a deception.

Lol. Why the secrecy? They could have skipped this competition, if they don't feel ready. It's not like the judges here are all ISU judges and they had to get feedback from them.

Why the secrecy? I’m sure it’s all Didier and FFSG’s doing, if it had been for P/C it would be really unfair towards other teams. We have already seen many of them at summer competitions and Challengers, or, in case of Russian dancers, at Test Skates that all ended up on YouTube. No one else is afraid of foreign competition, so why should they?

Woooow, fans are very angry on facebook.. Some of them are blaiming P/C calling them arrogant and disrespectful towards the other members of the french team...This is really bad PR and it's going to hurt them. I don't know who's behind this. I, personally, can't imagine them flying to France to just participate in the SD and a gala and not show it. They don't feel ready for the FD and they decided to not participate. So is it the french fed who made that decision ?
I hope we'll have some explanation from them via their instagrams.

The stream stopped right after Marie-Jade and Romain. I thought that my facebook stream had issues until I came here and saw that I was not the only one. That was a low blow really.

Everyone was shown in all disciplines from the Master's today, except for P/C. The stream had trouble briefly during Romain Ponsart's SP, so I thought maybe it was that again. But it quickly became clear that they intentionally cut the stream.

“You know what guys, you are all crap and not important enough, so we will show all of you on stream, except our champions P/C!” It’s horrible, really, I do hope Gabby and Guillaume announce on their social media it was not their idea, otherwise everyone (myself included!) will find them arrogant and full of themselves. So unfair towards other French skaters and all ice dance teams in general who are already showing up at the Challengers. If they had decided not to show them, why stream the competition at all? Make it a ticket only event with no filming allowed and it would be something like a champs camp in the USA or Canada. Horrible double standards.

The FFSG also didn't manage to show a feed of the first day of the competition at all, which I found to be rather strange. Seems like there are some institutional issues over there...

Um..how is this unfair to other French skaters? This is silly, but silly all around, including on the part of P/C. This is not even an Olympic year. I almost want to say, "no one cares!" in case anyone forgets how marginal figure skating's presence is in a non-Olympic year. This is not arrogance, but paranoia. I mean is there anyone who is expected to challenge them this season? Are they even capable of skating a "bad" program at this point?
