I know she's doing The Ice in Osaka. I'm really hoping she performed/performs one of her new programs. I've been impatiently waiting for it. I haven't heard anything on the web yet but even know the music would be great.

Can't believe no one has brought up Gabby's skating dress line yet! The collection is available on http://mycostumehouse.com.

I think the collection has a good amount of more 'classic' designs, which is what I was expecting. Hathor is definitely my favorite dress, very classy! I also appreciate that they offer a lot of customization options. :agree:

What do you all think? Are the prices affordable, expensive? Which one is your favorite? :luv17:

Apparently Gabby's FS music is gonna be Samson and Delilah.

Not gonna lie, I'm disappointed. I don't think it fits her and I really was hoping for her to do something more powerful. Regardless, I wish her a wonderful, successful season, maybe she'll make me change my mind when I see her program

Gabby is such a power skater. Why this music for the free? Especially the first 2/3 of the program, which seems like a total mismatch with her style, and there is nothing there if the jumps fail. I don't think there is much there if she lands her jumps. Okay, maybe there is something there but it's not interesting, at least not to me. This is like twinkly Gladiator all over again. I'm going to watch this on mute hwell: Not a fan of the dress either.

Wasn't a fan of her Carmen last year and still not a fan. The vocals are terrible, mute it is. The dress is lovely though.

By the way, the first part of Gabby's FS is "Mon Coeur S'oure A Ta Voix" by Sissel per Shazam.

And I too wish her well for the season! Success, health and all that jazz!

ETA: And what makes me so mad about her Carmen is that I actually like Carmen. I love warhorses but why this version Gabby? :scowl:

Original to S&D, doesn't matter, I'm muting it until instrumental S&D kicks in, which she could have used for the entire 4 minutes. And the music cuts are rough. That transition into instrumental S&D was not good.

I think the most prominent issue for me is that the music and style of her program really don't highlight her strenghts: speed and power. Her jumps are not really there yet, but I guess it's too soon to be worrying considering it's still August.

I prefer Carmen for her, I think it suits her better and the costume is amazing! Too bad for the annoying vocals

She did her SP at US Classics and despite what she said about wanting to up the component score, she did the 3T3T in lieu of the 3T3Lz. Wonder if she plans on changing it later in the season. It’ll be interesting to see if the FS jumps get shuffled around. She’s such a strong jumper, as is evident with her toe loop, this I really think she’ll reach that next level with her Lz and Loop.

There may be many issues of mental health nature that she needs to deal with before she can train and compete safely, such as anxiety or depression.

You're right, mental health is a very serious thing and I'm glad she's taking the time to get better.
