Those men are so darned upredictable.... I was thinking, while looking at everyone's Skate Canada predictions, there seem to be so many variations - small wonder! - that I wonder if among us all, we have hit all possiblities? I'm starting to think that anyone getting all men would be a victory - I mean, generally. They're so terribly... elusive, that I'd feel satisfaction if any one of us managed to nail them down.

That's my question too. I adore Kaetlyn and her skating much more so than many of the skaters I have her behind in my predictions, but I really don't know how her injury is going to factor into her competitive performance. A lot of people practice well, but the effects of their injuries have a bad way of surfacing during the actual stress of competition when the skater is forced to do everything within 2 to 4 minutes as opposed to being able to breathe and pace yourself slowly and perform elements in isolation during practice. Competition is a completely different beast.
