Grand Prix Standings - Men

Never mind. I found page 2.

Thanks for posting these. I probably would have been too busy or lazy to go out and find these myself.

Joe,

I thought Johnny wasn't listed either but there is a page two. Thus my edited post above. Just click on next at the bottom of the page to get to page two and he is listed at the end with no points.

Entertaining myself...

If I've got the men figured out right, it looks like this for the GPF. Let me know if I'm not figuring this right.

Joubert 21
Buttle 19
Sandhu 19
Jahnke 14
Li 13
Weir 12, with COR left to go.

Weir would have to get no points at COR to be out, I think. The only other outsiders are Zhang, who I think would have to get 2nd at COR to bump in, or Vanderperen or Lysacek - either of them would have to win COR to bump in. I think those scenarios are unlikely, but HEY. Life is sometimes full of surprises.

Thanks mpal. I found it.

DG - You are correct so far: Buttle, Joubert and Sandhu are definitely in the mix.

and Johnny needs a 5th place to qualify. If Plush, Brian, Griazev, place higher, and Johnny comes in 4th for a total of 16, he will qualify. This scenario could happen.

However, Lysacek, Zhang and Van de Perren could grab a spot on the top 5. Unlikely as it is, these things do happen.

So we'll think about the whole Final as:

Buttle
Joubert
Sandhu
Johnny
Ryun
Chenjang

Applecart upsetters: Lysacek, Zhang, v.d.Perren.

Michael is definitely out.

But it is a slippery sport and meltdowns happen. Let's see.

We're on the same page Joe...

And looking forward to COR!! You are so right - strange things happen and ice is very slick.
