Grand Prix participants?

Hi. Confused a bit.
In the guess gp list for women. Who is Mayindo . She isn't in top 24 of seasons best list or world standing. Howdoes she get one.
Yes Yujae and Yuesong medal in junior. It doesn't guarantee them two. Only Yujea is in top 24 in season best and world standing
Yusrong Is in top 24 in one and outside top 24 in the other.
She might get two but not guaranteed

Sofia von Felton could get host spot.

Question since Kaori retired and Isabella finished 4th is it possible that Alysa, olympic 1st, Amber 6th world moved to fifth, and Isabella 4th world moved to 3rd can skate in same gp as 3rd , 5th and ws 1st rank
Yes, only the top 24 in the SB list and WS list is guaranteed one spot. But after all guaranteed spots are allocated, they usually give the rest of the spots using the SB list, so that's why Miyake will probably get two as she is pretty high ranked (27th). The Kim twins are both also pretty high ranked so they might get two spots...if they decide to turn senior.

As Kaori retired, the skater placed 7th at Worlds (Petrokina) move up to a seeded place amongst Chiba, Pinzarrone, Levito, Gutmann, Glenn.

Liu and Shaidorov, the Olympic champions, will not be seeded as both of them didn't go to Worlds.

In order to compete in senior
1. They need to meet a minimum score. Is there a minimum score for challengers and others
2. They need to turn 17 by July 2026bthis year to compete in isu events gp, for the 2026 /2027 season
Or is it by July 2025?

2026 -2008 = 18
2026- 2009 = 17
.however if 2025 They would be 17 , 16

As can be read at the end of page 20:
a Single Skater born on June 30th, 2009 can compete in Senior next season (or in Junior if they prefer), while a Skater born on July 1rst, 2009 can compete only in Junior.

No minimum score for Challengers (unless a country has internal minimum scores for international assignments) or Senior B competitions. No minimum score for Grand Prix host spots either (or for comeback skaters). The GP minimum score is basically never a problem, except for very rarely in pairs.

(Technical) Minimum scores for Championship events will likely be tentatively decided on this week and may be adjusted throughout the season if needed.

They need to turn 17 by July 1st, 2026, so they have to have been born on or before June 30th, 2009.

Didn't they use to come out with the list at the end of the ISu congress (the initial list) ?
They changed to August for better confirmation from the skaters?
i understand the logic of possibly stalling until august, but for attendees it is a challenge to make travel/hotel accommodations.
selfishly, the sooner the better (for my bank account!)

Jackie Wong said in his podcast that GP assigments should be out his week. It's not officialy confirmed, but he said that's what he understood from talking to various people from ISU at the congress. He said, first part of the week. So, let's hope he's right.
