Gymnastics and Skating

Who watched? I for one was really impressed! It was so great to see Shen and Zhao again. They looked fit, happy and just beautiful. Shizukia looked like she was in better shape than she was 2 years ago. Her jumping is just EFFORTLESS. and Lang Lang is a really talented and great accompaniment to the skating. The gymnastics was great too!

We watched the show. We liked what we saw, but I wonder if we didn't get to see a number of the skating numbers due to the the fact that this was a gymnastics and skating show. Lang Lang was incredible.

I liked this show very much. Lang Lang is wonderful and I could listen to his music all day. What a treat it was to see S/Z, Yuka and Shiz skating to Lang's music. I was also very pleased to see my other favorite skater Plushenko. The other skaters were very entertaining also. I thought I would hate the gymnastic part of the show but that was not to bad. The gymnast performed very nice routines.. Overall this was the best skating show for me this season. It was a nice change to see soft, elegant and powerful skating for a change with great music to boot.

This show rocked. Lang Lang was marvelous! Watching Shizuka skate was a pleasure. She looked so stunningly beautiful out there and skater with no effort, as if she were born in skates. She just floated across the ice.

That balance beam--how do gymnast ever do backflips on it?! All the gymnasts were wonderful to watch, especially Paul Hamm.

Dominique Moceanu might have been there but she now has a very young baby to watch.

I thought this show was fantastic from start to finish! For years I have been hoping gymnastics would find some way...some REALLY GOOD way to show itself off for exhibitions/shows. This was the first time I thought they hit the nail on the head! The high bar was fantastic, the Paul Hamm floor routine was super fun, and I cannot say enough about the still rings w/out shirts! As it should be!!

Lang Lang was stunning and to see him perform while Shen/Zhao and Shizuka skated...wow wow WOW! Just an all around great show!

Did anyone watch Lang Lang perform last night with Herbie Hancock last night at the grammys?

Everything was well done in the show, but I think it was just too much to try to focus on Lang Lang, the skaters AND the gymasts. It was like a 3-ring circus; I never knew where to look! I can't imagine being a cameraman or editor for that show!
